Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sales Application Engineer to enhance our market share and promote our comprehensive portfolio of Transformer Service.

This role is critical in collaborating with our Front-End Sales Team on promoting Digital & Service portfolio, focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other service units.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues, and identifying opportunities and soliciting orders from existing and prospective customers.

  • Solicit orders and analyze customers' needs to recommend solutions that best meet the customers' requirements.
  • Participate in negotiations with customers on technical, contractual, and commercial content of the proposal.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of sales experience in energy industry in areas of electrification projects, transmission & distribution, or utility/transmission developer experience.
  • Proven track record of client engagement in electrical industry, specifically transformers.
  • Familiarity with transformer digital solutions, especially exposure to Hitachi Energy Digital Portfolio.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strategic Business Acumen and resilience in sales pursuits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
