Job Title:

Craftsmanship Specialist

This is a key role in our organization where we seek a highly skilled individual to manage workshop activities, maintain stock and records, and assist the design team when required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Workshop Management: Efficiently manage workshop operations, ensuring optimal use of resources and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Metalworking: Perform metalwork tasks including drilling, cutting, tapping, polishing, detailing, and assembly, adhering to safe operating procedures at all times.
  • Soldering and Basic Wiring: Proficiently solder and perform basic wiring tasks as required.
  • Design Team Support: Provide assistance to design team members as needed, collaborating effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Liaising with Suppliers and Fabricators: Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and fabricators to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Safety Procedures: Adhere to strict safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for self and colleagues.
  • Packing and Shipping: Effectively pack end products for distribution, meeting quality and efficiency standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Power Tools Experience: Highly skilled in using power tools, including power drills, drop saws, angle grinders, metal polishers, and finishers, as well as soldering and tapping equipment.
  • Mechanical Fixing and Assembly: Experienced in mechanical fixing and assembly tasks.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Well-organized with acute attention to detail, ensuring accurate record keeping and efficient workflow management.
  • Reliability and Work Ethic: Hard-working and reliable, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results.
