**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trainer and assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing the Certificate III in Driving Operations, ensuring that students gain the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training programs that meet the requirements of the TLI Training Package and RTO policies, focusing on theory and practical skills required for driving operations.
  • Assessment: Conduct assessments in line with the TLI Training Package and RTO policies, using a range of methods including written exams, practical demonstrations, and observations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey, helping them to achieve their goals and develop a passion for the industry.
  • Industry Engagement: Engage with clients professionally, representing the organization with integrity and building strong relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116): Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in training design, delivery, and assessment.
  • Vocational Competencies: Possess relevant vocational competencies in driving operations, such as heavy vehicle operation and maintenance.
  • Chain of Responsibility and NHVR Requirements: Have a sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility and National Heavy Vehicle Regulator requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence: Hold a current and valid heavy vehicle driver licence, preferably with a MC or HC endorsement.
  • Industry Experience: Demonstrate extensive experience training in the Transport & Logistics industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • TLI Training Package and VET Sector Compliance: Be familiar with the TLI Training Package and VET sector compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients, students, and colleagues.
