We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering safe and evidence-based care to patients within the custodial setting.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. You will also have the opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of clinical review systems and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the complex needs of patients.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members in the implementation of clinical practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address systemic issues impacting patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work closely with the nursing and medical teams to ensure that patients receive high-quality care that meets their physical and emotional needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing person-centered care and will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Requirements- Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in mental health settings.
- Postgraduate qualifications in mental health or a related field.
