Career As A Mental Health Nurse SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse Specialist. The successful applicant will provide high-standard care to patients in a custodial mental health setting.
The role involves working with patients to assess and manage their mental health issues, developing discharge plans and ensuring the smooth transfer of care.
You will be responsible for providing evidence-based care that meets the standards and policies set by the relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patient mental health issues in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patient needs and goals.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including assessment data, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Three years' experience in mental health nursing, with post-graduate qualifications in mental health or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.
