As a Graduate Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct recovery-focused nursing care and case management to mental health consumers under supervision. This involves using individual care and treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and support holistic consumer outcomes.

- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and support holistic consumer outcomes.
- Engage in health promotion, education, counselling, and group work to empower consumers in managing their mental health and recovery journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, support culturally safe care, and contribute to managing challenging behaviours in the clinical setting.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practising certificate.
- Currently enrolled in or be willing to enrol in post graduate university studies in Mental Health (minimum Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing).
- Demonstrated clinical competence in nursing practice, aligned with professional standards and a recovery-focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Effective team player with the ability to prioritise workload and adapt creatively to challenges in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
