About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Theology. As Academic Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our faculty staff, ensuring that our academic programs meet the highest standards and contribute to the university's mission.

Your primary responsibility will be to advance learning and teaching in the Faculty, consistent with the University's Catholic identity and values. You will work closely with faculty staff, students, and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative learning and teaching strategies that enhance student outcomes and experiences.

You will also be responsible for leading a dispersed team of faculty staff, guiding them in their roles and responsibilities, and supporting their professional development. Your excellent leadership and management skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, promote a positive and inclusive work culture, and foster a sense of community within the faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Theology
  • Develop and implement learning and teaching strategies that align with the University's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of faculty staff, guiding them in their roles and responsibilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting collaboration and teamwork among faculty staff
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and other educational institutions
