Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Resource Service Leader to coordinate, lead and manage our Healthy Waterways Team. This role involves delivering the City's waterway health monitoring program, environmental education and engagement program and community conservation program.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies and programs that generate positive change.

About the Role
  • Coordinate and lead the Healthy Waterways Team
  • Develop, coordinate and support the delivery of strategies, policies and programs to enhance Council's management of water resources
  • Lead and manage teams and influence others in cross-organisational and external settings

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with relevant industry experience to join our team and contribute to enhancing Council's management of water resources.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Traditional Custodians, community and Government
  • Leadership skills and ability to influence others
What We Offer
  • Base salary commencing at $114,375 gross per annum
  • 12% superannuation
  • Performance payment 1%-3.5% annual salary
  • Annual award increase
