Maintenance Technician Job Description

Are you a skilled handyman with a passion for maintenance and repair? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves maintaining and repairing furniture, equipment, fixtures, walls, and other facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning drains, and checking fire extinguishers.
  • Repair and replace damaged or broken furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Assist in minor construction projects such as painting, installing electrical circuitry, and remodeling rooms.
  • Operate various power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Valid California driver's license required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
