Product Quality Specialist

As a dedicated Quality Assurance professional, you will be responsible for verifying the conformity of manufactured final products to specifications.
Key Responsibilities include performing tests and making decisions, setting up laboratory equipment, inspecting and testing processed and/or packed products, assisting in production trials, and ensuring quality requirements are met according to WQA/SQF/Coles/Aldi and HACCP standards.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring daily hygiene and quality in the manufacturing plant, carrying out internal audits of processes and systems, and selecting products for tests at specified stages in the production process.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or Science, food industry experience, and a working knowledge of food safety and quality principles.
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and initiative are essential for this role.
