Job Description

A skilled and versatile engineer is required to manage and improve production machinery and systems.

  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of production equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment faults in a timely manner.
  • Perform upgrades and installations of new machinery and systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and machine performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant mechanical or electrical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of relevant engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call cover as required.
