Our organization is seeking a skilled and versatile engineer to join our dedicated engineering team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and improving production machinery and systems to ensure optimal operational performance.

The primary responsibility of this position is to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems across various production lines.

  • Maintenance work involves regular checks on equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment faults in a timely manner
  • Upgrades and installations of new machinery and systems
  • Collaboration with production teams to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency
  • Accurate records of maintenance work and machine performance
  • Health and safety regulations compliance and company policies adherence
  • Continuous improvement initiatives and training programs participation

A qualified engineer with relevant mechanical or electrical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent) is required.

Experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment is necessary.

A strong understanding of relevant engineering principles and practices is essential.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are needed.

The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are required.

Flexibility to work flexible hours and participate in on-call cover as required is necessary.

Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and standards is an advantage.
