Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The role of a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the quality and performance of products through automated testing solutions.

This includes designing efficient, scalable, and reliable automated test scripts that contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

A key responsibility is driving technical innovation and excellence in software testing using tools like Playwright, Appium, and Jmeter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks for regression, performance, functional, and integration testing
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify, document, and report bugs and performance issues
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyse user stories and requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation
  • Solid understanding of using technical tools like Playwright, Appium, and Jmeter
  • Deep understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, best practices, including test planning, test case development, and performance testing
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to manage sprints and backlogs
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams
  • Mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow
  • Aptitude for identifying and managing risks
