About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team as an Active Directory Specialist. The successful candidate will have a shared responsibility for the design of a new AD environment in accordance with customer requirements, development of required design documentation, implementation of the design, and maintenance of the system until customer handover.

This role includes creation of workstation images, development of image management and patching strategies, implementing a common authentication scheme across the environment and system hardening. Day-to-day work includes working as part of a small team, working under limited supervision, balancing competing work requirements and developing the product while maintaining design documentation and engaging/supporting other product teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Active Directory environments including multi-forest domain trusts, GPO policies, logging and role-based access control
  • Implement application deployment and whitelisting, SOE image creation, deployment and hardening, Windows updates and patch management
  • Integrate applications and devices with AD-based authentication, including LDAP, Kerberos, NPS etc.
  • Creation and deployment of internal Certificate Authority
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and building IT environments in compliance with the Information Security Manual (ISM). Microsoft Certification or equivalent is desirable. Experience in a Defence-related industry is also desirable.
