Job Description

About the Role:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of ICT practices and legislation to ensure that ICT management within support core business activities align with strategic agendas and contribute to student success.
  • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to promote school/college compliance with Department's Enterprise Architecture and Information Policies, Procedures, and Standards.
  • Lead an enthusiastic team of technology support staff, providing technical leadership, guidance, and management in allocation and prioritization of work, as well as creating and maintaining a positive, outcomes-focused culture.
  • Provide leadership and advice to customers in planning, implementation, and use of information systems, technologies, and telecommunications infrastructure, including development of ICT planning, and ensuring stakeholders understand available IT services in supporting business change.
  • Lead and manage a school/college ICT team, including training, coordination of workflow processes, performance assessment and review, a high level of service provision, ICT asset management, and procurement, and issue resolution in line with agreement performance standards.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice, analysis, and support to school/college senior management team in relation to ICT and information security.
  • Identify and develop strategies for providing training and development in use of ICT systems and services within a school environment.
