Warehouse Associate Role

The Warehouse Associate has a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient transportation of products from our warehouse to the sales floor. This position involves frequent handling of merchandise varying in weight from light to heavy throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and identify/report low stock levels
  • Complete necessary paperwork daily
  • Execute retail tasks efficiently (stocking, labeling, facing, cleaning etc.)
  • Place product and overstock in appropriate locations
  • Report stolen/damaged goods to Management
  • Assist with pricing/verifying price labels as needed
  • Organize warehouse as needed
  • Dispose garbage/cardboard
  • Greet/assist/thank customers in a friendly manner
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations

Requirements/Skills:

  • No experience required – we provide all training needed
  • Ability to work shifts (days/evenings/weekends/holidays)
  • Handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting/carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
  • Strong computer/organizational skills
  • Result-oriented
  • Find solutions to problems, adapt/cope with challenging situations/make decisions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment/multitask
  • Certification in forklift/skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
  • High-School or Equivalent
