About the Role:

Eptec is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our Defence Solutions team based in Henderson. As a QA Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects by supporting project managers, supervisors, and crew members.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Live and role model Eptec's Zero Harm Values, driving a safety culture and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with project plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to all internal and client quality requirements and procedures for painting/blasting works.
  • Conduct material inspections and review of documentation to ensure compliance to project technical requirements.
  • Report on all non-conformance incidents and provide feedback on solutions and turnaround time for corrections made.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction management or engineering or a related discipline.
  • NACE CIP 2 certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in marine, asset remediation, and infrastructure projects, with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works.
  • Technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances, and application processes.
  • Familiar with Quality systems - progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
