Job Summary

We are seeking expressions of interest for Psychologists to join our team at Robertson Health Centre.

As a Psychologist with Serco, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members.

Referrals will come from a variety of sources, including the member, medical team, and Command, offering diversity in presentations and support requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial intake and assessment with flexibility to accommodate presenting need.
  • Scope for the use of psychometrics and engagement in treatment that capitalizes on your skills, interests, and scope of practice.
  • Autonomy to manage your caseload, including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defence members.
  • Management of crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning supported within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based 'Focused Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule.
