As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to customers every step of the way. You will be passionate about delivering tailored lending solutions that meet each customer's unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying aspirations

  • Conduct initial interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications

  • Make relevant suggestions to customers based on their home buying goals and objectives

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers, building trust, confidence, and advocacy to help them secure and enhance their financial goals

  • Develop your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility and influence

  • Build and maintain internal and external referral sources, and seek external referrals from existing customers to grow your business

  • Engage with home buying customers to build rapport, understand their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment

  • Adhere to industry standards and best practices, including reviewing customers' financial positions, completing security checks, and ensuring applications comply with regulations

  • Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills, and coach colleagues on best practice

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic changes, and industry developments affecting customers and the industry

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar home lending role within a financial institution or mortgage broker environment

  • Demonstrated business development success and a proven track record of driving growth

  • Well-developed knowledge of home lending products and current responsible lending legislation
