Workforce planning plays a vital role in the success of any mining operation. We are currently seeking an experienced Workforce/Forecast Planner to join our team based in Perth.

This role is responsible for developing and managing labour in our workforce management software, ensuring that maintenance works and shutdowns are set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, site coordinators, and internal managers daily
  • Resource labour force and asset requirements in accordance with shutdowns
  • Clarify resource requirements with senior management
  • Communicate resource forecast with the recruitment team and senior management
  • Develop and timely maintain jobs in our workforce management system as per our resource forecast
  • Deliver weekly reports to senior management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a workforce management type role
  • Experience on a planning or workforce management system (advantageous)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
  • Well-developed administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional interpersonal skills with all personnel and stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Ability to deliver on deadlines
