We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Public Spaces Maintenance team as an Apprentice Plumber.

\r

This role involves completing a Certificate III in Plumbing over a 4-year period, working alongside experienced plumbers to gain hands-on skills and knowledge.

\r

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with planning, coordinating and maintaining Council buildings across the city.

\r

Key requirements include a willingness to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Plumbing, an interest in pursuing a trades industry career in plumbing, and a Class C Driver Licence.

\r

Additionally, the candidate must be able to work as part of a team, demonstrate a willingness to learn and follow instructions, and possess a strong commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

\r

Successful applicants will also require a Work Safely in the Construction Industry (WorkSafe White Card) and undergo employment checks including Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position.
