Union Member Support Specialist

Deliver exceptional day-to-day services to union members and provide high-quality data entry in a collaborative team environment. As a highly motivated individual, you will work collaboratively to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
- Staff inbound phone lines with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process membership transactions, including new members, financial transactions, and resignations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure quality of data entry and enhance processes where possible, maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection guidelines.
- Resolve and escalate queries as necessary, upholding the union's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities, adhering to existing working practices, methods, and procedures.
Selection Criteria
- A Member Services Representative demonstrates:
- Excellent customer/member service skills, providing timely and effective support.
- Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to take direction and follow process, adapting to changing circumstances.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and liaison skills, facilitating collaboration and resolution.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office & Excel skills, leveraging technology to enhance performance.
- Commitment to our union's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
To perform this job, you will also be required to have or obtain and maintain:
- Right of Entry Permits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Immunisation against COVID-19 or have a medical exemption, prioritizing health and safety.
