IT Infrastructure Technician

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Technician.

This role will be responsible for the design, build and distribution of secure ICT infrastructure aligned with best practice and governance principles.

  • Analyse and resolve complex issues pertaining to ICT infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) and related artefacts.
  • Identify and assess technical risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to inform mitigation options.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Technical mentoring and supporting of other SME's within the Wintel team.
  • Experience in building, deploying and supporting Microsoft technologies: Windows Server 2019, SQL, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PKI, VMWare, VCF and Powershell.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks and infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of SEA2273 Minerva systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with Nutanix.
