System Administrator – CanberraGovernment & Defence Projects - Onsite Role - 12+ Month EngagementKJR is looking for a System Administrator to join our growing Canberra team, supporting high-impact programs across the government and defence sectors.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in secure, complex environments and is passionate about keeping systems running smoothly, securely, and at scale.Your Role:Support and maintain server infrastructure, networks, and system applicationsEnsure compliance with security protocols and governance requirementsMonitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and incident responseWork closely with project teams and stakeholders to support system deployments and upgradesDocument system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutionsYou Bring:Proven experience as a System Administrator within government, defence, or similarly regulated environmentsStrong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environmentsExperience managing cloud or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)Familiarity with Active Directory, group policy, networking, and patch managementKnowledge of Defence security clearance processes (NV1/NV2 preferred)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsWhy Join KJR?
