Key Role in Regulatory Compliance

In this critical position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of Australia's financial system. As an Analyst, your key responsibility will be to assess applications for Australian Financial Services and Australian Credit licences.

The successful candidate will possess strong research and analytical skills, enabling them to effectively evaluate complex information and legislation. They will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, allowing them to engage with various stakeholders and present information clearly.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assessing licence applications, identifying areas of concern, and providing recommendations for refusal or approval.
  • Communicating effectively with applicants, preparing documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engaging in difficult discussions and negotiations, showcasing confidence and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in researching and analysing complex information.
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to distil key messages.
  • Excellent editing skills, confident communication, and engagement with diverse audiences.
