About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager or Client Director to join our dynamic Tax Advisory practice, specializing in State Taxes. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical and commercially focused advice to a diverse range of clients across Australia, with a focus on stamp duty, land tax, and windfall gains tax.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technically accurate and commercially focused advice to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare private ruling applications, objections correspondence, lodgements, and relief applications
  • Handle investigations and compliance activities undertaken by revenue offices and deal with disputes
  • Build and manage client relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the delivery of internal and external training and business development initiatives
Requirements
  • Law and/or accounting degree with experience in state taxes or a related area
  • Commercial focus, strategic thinking, and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively
  • Strong legislative interpretation skills and ability to craft well-written advice
