Renewable Energy Transition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver knowledge sharing initiatives and products, such as commissioned studies, forums, roundtables, webinars, workshops, and newsletters.
  • Negotiate and review contractual knowledge sharing deliverables for new Authority funded projects, identifying valuable insights and portfolio trends for the industry.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry knowledge gaps and relevant insights within assigned technology portfolios.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving the team's knowledge sharing approach over time.
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues within the Authority and external stakeholders.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, both within an organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication techniques depending on the audience.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills to identify portfolio trends.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A background in renewable energy or the Australian energy sector.
  • Direct work experience in any of the following areas would be highly regarded: hydrogen, electric vehicles, solar R&D.
