About the Role
">Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Executive Officer to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our small team and supporting the Commissioner in delivering their Terms of Reference.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a small team dedicated to handling complaints and advocating for best practices in relation to onshore and offshore wind farms, solar farms, energy storage facilities and new major transmission projects.
- Supervise the preparation of formal reports, work plans and other briefing material, including regular reports to the Department, quarterly reports to the Minister and Annual Reports to the Parliament of Australia.
- Develop and implement activities and programs to advocate for best practice reforms and initiatives.
- Provide guidance for the publication of relevant material on the Commissioner's website.
Requirements
- Prior to commencing, the successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain a valid driver's licence and be able to travel both regionally and interstate.
