About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Application Specialist to join our team in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. As a key member of our Safety team, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our customers on their projects throughout Victoria and Australia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, testing, and evaluating workplace environments, equipment, and practices
  • Collecting samples of potentially toxic materials
  • Demonstrating the correct use of safety equipment
  • Assisting in the investigation of incidents and accidents
  • Undertaking the assembly and testing of products and equipment
  • Monitoring and reporting on rental stock levels
  • Arranging replacement of rental equipment and ensuring adequate levels of consumables are available
  • Sourcing and acquiring 3rd party equipment, when required
  • Undertaking the maintenance, repair & testing of products and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate service records
  • Continually improving and adding value to processes
  • Providing a good, efficient & reliable level of service that promotes Dräger to our customers

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable to the requirements of our customers and enjoys working autonomously as well as in a team environment. Your experience and skills should include:

  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams
  • Ability to comprehend technical problems and provide solutions
  • Ability to perform routine arithmetic calculations
  • Understanding of pricing structure & gross margin
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Computer operation and Microsoft applications
  • Current Driving Licence
