**Cancer Care Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at St John of God Hospital in Bunbury. The successful candidate will work in a welcoming, comfortable and nurturing environment providing cancer treatments to patients from the South-West region.

The role is offered on a Permanent Part-Time basis, working 30.4 hours per week. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating patient care needs, planning and delivering effective treatment plans, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Adhering to and supporting hospital policies, procedures and standards.
  • Acting as the patient's advocate and protecting their rights.
  • Providing patient education and acting as a resource where appropriate.
  • Maintaining and developing clinical skills to manage patient health problems.

To succeed, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse, preferably in oncology, and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction. You will also have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
