Support Services Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our community-based support services, you will be responsible for providing daily living assistance to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and within our SIL houses.

Your primary focus will be on supporting clients with their morning, afternoon, and night routines, as well as assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, ironing, and laundry.

You will also be required to work flexible hours, including short notice shifts, to provide coverage for staff who may be absent due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career through accredited training and professional development programs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • An Australian National Police Check
  • First Aid certification
  • A Working With Children (WWC) Check
  • Vaccination against Covid-19
  • English language proficiency

You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location and Schedule:

This role is based in Wellington Point, QLD, and requires a reliable commute or relocation before commencing work.

The schedule for this role includes afternoon and day shifts, Monday to Friday.
