Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in providing high-quality early childhood education. At the heart of our approach is a commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and community among children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure child safety and well-being through active supervision and a focus on prevention.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement engaging, age-appropriate curricula that promote learning and development.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • Model positive behaviors and reinforce social and emotional skills through guidance and redirection.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
  • Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes cultural sensitivity.
Requirements:
  • Availability to work varying shifts between 7am and 6:30pm, five days per week.
  • Working towards or holding a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
  • Child protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Child Safe Standards.
  • Demonstrated passion for the early childhood sector and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
