We are seeking a skilled Turf Management Specialist to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our landscape care team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our turf areas to ensure they remain lush, healthy, and resilient.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces. You will also be responsible for monitoring turf health and proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.

As a Turf Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field. Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements is essential. Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers, is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.

  • Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques.

  • Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.

About You
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
  • Cricket Wicket experience (desirable).
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
  • Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
