About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Services Engineer to join our Sydney Hydraulic and Fire Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technically challenging projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial buildings, residential developments, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project delivery across multiple projects, including commercial buildings, residential developments, and educational facilities.
  • Design and implementation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler and hydrant systems, alarm systems, and gas suppression systems.
  • Mentorship and guidance of junior colleagues.
  • Client liaison and communication, including attendance at meetings and inspections.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fire protection evaluation, design, and implementation, ideally 5-10 years.
  • FPAS and Class 2 accreditation for fire services, or working towards.
  • Strong understanding of local and statutory regulations, including codes and standards.
  • Previous work experience in a consulting engineering environment.
  • Accountability and drive to set goals and achieve them.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
