Job Title: Senior Knowledge Lawyer

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to provide professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services and Tax sections.

You will work closely with our Client Solutions, Information Technology, Business Development and Learning & Development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement precedent frameworks and project plans for the national Commercial practice groups;
  • Facilitate development and execution of technical solutions and document process enhancements;
  • Draft and maintain precedents;
  • Be a champion for style guide compliance;
  • Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
  • Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
  • Write key matter summaries for business development;
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes and provide regular updates to the Commercial practice groups;
  • Prepare and deliver legal educational training; and
  • Deliver style, precedents and writing training to the firm.
About You

A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance.

Advanced document drafting and contract review skills are essential. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and project manage autonomously are also required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role. A keen interest and experience in delivering training are highly valued.
