Medical Specialist in Pain Management

We seek a highly skilled medical specialist to lead our pain management team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

As a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, ANZCA, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care and leading a team of healthcare professionals in managing chronic pain patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in managing chronic pain patients and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Engage in teaching and supervision of medical trainees and residents to ensure continuity of high-quality care.
  • Participate in training and quality improvement activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in pain management.
Requirements:
  • Be a registered medical practitioner with an unrestricted provider number in Australia.
  • Hold a recognised specialist qualification in Pain Medicine, such as Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, ANZCA.
  • Have experience working as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Pain Medicine.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in pain management.
