OTR Group is a leading retail and convenience company with over 1,000 locations across Australia.

The Innovation & Project Delivery Lead will play a key role in bringing new ideas to life across the business. They will support the design, execution, and rollout of innovation projects that enhance customer experiences and deliver initiatives that drive business results.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong project management skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of innovation trials and projects, ensuring successful execution and scale-up of new concepts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, category teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring new ideas to life.
  • Engage with operational teams to ensure they are trained, informed, and equipped for trial execution.
  • Track and report on trial outcomes, providing feedback and post-implementation reviews.
  • Provide commercial input, including feasibility assessments, supplier negotiations, and success factor setting.
  • Adapt trial plans based on early results and scale successful initiatives quickly.
  • Develop clear exit strategies for unsuccessful trials, with insights on lessons learned.
About You:
  • You have proven project management skills with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • You are agile and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You possess commercial acumen with experience in supplier negotiations and feasibility assessments.
  • You have cross-functional leadership experience.
  • You have experience in convenience retail and QSR environments, including store operations, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
