We are seeking a Senior Technology Solutions Architect to join our team at Nasdaq, a global leader in technology and financial markets. As a Senior Calypso Developer, you will be responsible for implementing the Calypso system and assisting customers in meeting their technical requirements.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the customer project team to design and implement solutions that meet their business needs. You will be responsible for testing, signoff, and go-live activities, as well as training users and developers on the use of the system. Your expertise in Java, C++, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux, Sybase, XML, and relational databases will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement solutions that meet customer technical requirements
  • Test, sign off, and ensure successful go-live activities
  • Train users and developers on the use of the system
  • Work with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in systems or technical analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry
  • Strong knowledge of GUI and server-side development, with experience in commercial software development in Java, C++, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux, Sybase, XML
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including working experience with Sybase and/or Oracle
