Immerse yourself in a dynamic role that combines legal expertise with social impact. As a Full-Time Seconded Lawyer, you will contribute to the development of innovative service delivery models and systemic advocacy efforts.

About the Opportunity

This 12-month full-time pro bono secondment offers the chance to run matters in a tech-startup community legal service. You will work closely with a student-powered clinic to supervise a high volume of cases.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise a student-powered clinic to ensure efficient case management.
  • Play a key role in enabling a not-for-profit legal service to scale its social impact and address housing challenges.
  • Contribute to systemic advocacy efforts and improve legal operations and technology platforms.
  • Inspire and empower the next generation of lawyers through mentorship and guidance.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a lawyer with a passion for thinking outside the box and promoting social justice. Key requirements include:

  • A law graduate or unrestricted practising certificate.
  • An ability to learn tenancy law and supervise law students.
  • A willingness to contribute to a non-traditional workplace that is largely remote, volunteer-run, and asynchronous.
