Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent individual to join our team as a Pool and Gym Attendant.

The purpose of this role is to undertake daily operational duties in the Pool & Gym facilities as directed by the Supervisor.

This is a permanent, casual position with shift times rostered between 6am – 9pm on a Monday to Thursday, 6am – 8pm Friday and weekends 8am – 7pm.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool, gym, and exercise rooms to ensure safety and maintain a secure environment.
  • Manage pool and gymnasium operations, ensuring compliance with water quality and other legislative requirements.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and safe, maintaining a register of all pool bookings.
  • Complete Sport and Recreation compliance and reporting duties.
  • Check and use pool rescue equipment.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven lifeguard experience.
  • Current and valid Lifeguard certificate.
  • Current and valid First Aid level III certificate.
  • Current Working with Children's certificate.
  • Current Driver's License and vehicle.
