Joiner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to fill the role of Joiner, responsible for shaping, cutting and fitting timber elements and erecting, renovating, repairing and installing fixtures and structures made of wood, wallboard, plywood and other materials.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shape, cut and fit timber elements to precise specifications
  • Erect, renovate, repair and install fixtures and structures made of wood, wallboard, plywood and other materials
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Joinery
  • Relevant 3 years' experience in joinery in lieu of formal qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in using grinders, chisels, planes, saws, sanders, screwdrivers, drills and wood files
Benefits:

This is a full-time position with hours worked between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
