We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented cabinet maker to undertake various woodworking projects. The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship skills, the ability to work from technical plans, and experience producing high-quality cabinetry and furniture for residential, commercial, and specialized applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Interpreting work orders and technical drawings to determine job requirements;
- Selecting appropriate materials, including solid timber, veneers, particle board, synthetic wood, and other engineered wood products;
- Operating computer-aided design (CAD) and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, shape, and prepare components;
- Constructing cabinets and furniture according to design specifications;
- Installing cabinetry in kitchens, bathrooms, commercial fit-outs, and other locations as required;
- Producing fittings for specialist applications, such as boats, caravans, and items requiring precision work;
- Assembling components into complete furniture and cabinetry units;
- Applying finishes and protective coatings to enhance durability and appearance;
- Installing hardware, such as hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves, and related fittings;
- Proven 1 year experience as a cabinet maker or in a related trade role;
- Strong ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and plans;
- Proficiency in working with a wide range of wood and engineered materials;
- Experience operating CNC and CAD machinery for precision manufacturing;
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines;
- Trade qualification in cabinet making or equivalent experience is required.
