Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Superior People Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will play a crucial role in driving our clients and business forward through innovative solutions.

  • At least 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in preparation of tax returns- companies, partnership, trusts, SMSFs and individuals.
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently completing.
  • Strong technical and organisational skills.
  • Time Management and Dedicated Work Ethic.
  • Proficient in accounting software – Xero, HandiSoft and BGL.
Key Responsibilities

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Preparation of quarterly BAS and IAS for SME clients.
  • Preparation of SMSF tax returns and financial statements.
  • Liaising with ATO and auditors with queries.
  • Preparation of SMSF trust deeds and SMSF set up documents.
  • Various research and drafting of tax advice.
  • There will be client contact, so strong and effective communication skills are essential.
