About Us
We are a state-of-the-art recreation centre located in Traralgon, Victoria. We offer a variety of fitness and swim programs, memberships, and facilities to suit adults and children. Our centre features a Gym, three Group Fitness Rooms, Indoor 50m Pool, Outdoor 25m Pool, Indoor Warm Water Pool, Indoor designated Learn to Swim Pool, Spa/Sauna/Steam Room, two large Water Slides, Aqua Playground, and an on-site Café.
About the Job
This full-time role offers an opportunity to lead our Frontline areas with administrative support, including Customer Service and Cafe teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employee training and development, as well as rostering and timesheet management.
- Providing direct support to the Centre Manager and acting as second-in-charge, contributing to overall operations at the facility.
- General Customer Service support and assistance.
- General administration, including scheduling and timesheet processing.
- Clerical duties, such as typing and basic data entry.
- Completing other site duties as required.
Requirements
- 2-3 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage the duty manager team.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks.
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and safety management systems.
