Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and manage project teams to achieve project objectives, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to minimize potential impacts.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Chair project meetings, including project kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and project close-out meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that projects are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure that projects are delivered using the latest and most effective methods.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as construction management, project management, engineering, or architecture.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Defence clearances will be highly regarded.
