Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join our team as a Counsel. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice to support business growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general commercial law, with expertise in areas such as contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement effective legal strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial matters, including contract review and negotiation, due diligence, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, clients, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, advising the business on potential impacts and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of general commercial law, including contract law, torts, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
