Leadership and Aquatic Recreation

A dynamic leadership opportunity exists for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team at a leisure centre.

The role offers a diverse and challenging work environment, requiring the successful applicant to supervise pool lifeguards, provide leadership and supervision, manage water quality, and manage stadium bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Pool Lifeguards and Senior Pool Lifeguards on shift
  • Provide leadership, supervision, advice, and guidance to all staff and programs
  • Manage and monitor water quality of all aquatic areas and conduct plant room tasks as per daily tasks register
  • Manage stadium bookings with timely set up and pack up of courts/programs

It is essential that the Duty Manager can maintain their lifeguarding skills by regularly working lifeguard shifts.

Requirements
