Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacy Leader to join our team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced pharmacist to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative pharmacy services at STARS.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, leadership, and digital transformation.

They will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, improve clinical outcomes, and enhance the overall patient experience.

  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy strategies to optimize medication use and improve patient safety.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement electronic medicines management systems and digital platforms to support innovative hospital pharmacy service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in pharmacy or related field.
  • Current registration as a pharmacist with the relevant state/territory health authority.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy principles, practice guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
