Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
This is a pivotal role that supports strategic decision-making across the university. The primary responsibility will be to design and implement data models and business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement data models and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau.
- Support student number intake and population modelling initiatives.
- Design and develop dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and reporting demos to ensure effective communication of data insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud.
- Ensure that all business intelligence and data warehouse technologies are aligned with governance standards and fit for purpose.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau (preferably Tableau Cloud).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to communicate complex data insights to senior decision-makers.
- Experience in managing the full business intelligence/service lifecycle, from planning to delivery.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to change.
