Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Learning Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the early childhood sector, including relevant legislation and standards. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

The Learning Team Lead will work closely with the Centre Director to achieve strategic goals and objectives. They will be responsible for supporting the development of educators, promoting positive relationships between children, families, and staff, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance in the centre
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
  • Mentor and coach educators to enhance their practice and support their professional development
  • Collaborate with the Centre Director to develop and implement centre-wide initiatives and projects
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre budgets and operational plans
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the early childhood sector
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including VEYLDF and National Regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to lifelong learning
